At our Annual Workshop on November 4th at Verdoy Fire Department, the Officers and Directors of the Capital Area Association paid tribute to Bill Young for his years of service to the Association and its member districts. Bill has been instrumental in introducing and passing legislation that benefits the fire service in New York State and has personally represented many districts in the Capital Area. Bill has always been referred to as a unwavering professional and a gentleman. We all hope that Bill and Joan enjoy their retirement and remember us fondly. You have made our lives better and we thank you.
